I'm working in a networked environment, Windows 10 Home edition, from my local ssd system drive and from a synology NAS, the issue started happening suddenly a few days ago, xyplorer has been working perfectly for me for around a year before this. Can you describe your situation in more detail? How many thumbnails? What kind of files? Are you using the cache? Use 'no save' mode: No save mode allows you to work faster by saving XYplorer settings on exit.
